Tea Smoked Salmon
We lined a roasting tray with tin foil and sprinkled over loose
leaf Darjeeling Blush tea. We added basmati rice, mixed it together
and put it over a ring on the cooker to heat.
Once the tea heated up it started to smoke. We put another piece
of tin foil pierced full of holes over the tea. We then placed
two salmon fillets on top.
A third piece of foil was used to cover the salmon and keep all
the smoke inside. We put it in the oven for about 15 mins until
cooked. The tea only slightly flavoured the salmon, so we will
do this recipe again sometime but with our own modifications.
