Grilled Cheese Tapas
We bought a block of halloumi (Greek grilling cheese) and wanted
to make some tapas with it. We cooked a few slices of black pudding
and some button mushrooms on a griddle pan. We then griddled some
slices of the halloumi. We had a packet of salami slices which
we placed the slices of halloumi onto and rolled them up (holding
them in place with cocktail sticks.
With the leftover halloumi we chopped it into chunks and put
them into the griddle pan too. Our black pudding slices were topped
with a slice of cheese and a button mushroom and secured with
a cocktail stick.
The texture of the cheese worked very well with the salami and
the black pudding. Lovely little nibbles.
